Place holder or no, that flank is looking quite tasty!

Amazingly nice job with the sculpts! You've definitely worked out some nice loops there!
I wonder how well the character would work out being worked out low poly along with rigging?

thanks, although there are no loops there. it's all dynamesh.
I am not sure whether this will ever be retopologized and rigged...

heheh I work in 3ds max and have done a couple retopology, would def love to see hwo your works can work out, retopolized with normalmaps and then rigging them up! Keep up the awesome work!

You're pretty good with squishy shapes!
I saw you working "by hand" on another model some time ago, how much do you sculpt before you start tweaking the mesh?

_{Also, is that ZBrush?}

100% Zbrush.
I sculpt the whole thing. I am not sure what you mean by "tweaking".
I establish the base volumes with primitives (mostly polyspheres, potentialy adjusted with ZModeler) and then I dynamesh them and sculpt.
