Kaizen, meaning shadow bearers, are creatures of the Void. When undisturbed, they move in slow, graceful strides, almost drifting as they walk. However, when approached or even simply stared at for too long, they will take notice and move with quick, jerking motions. They usually do no more harm than causing their victim to pass out and perhaps suffer nightmares for a few nights. However, many are overwhelmed with curiosity and wish to see what lies beneath the mask of a Kaizen. Never look at the face of a Kaizen. Those few who have removed a mask proceeded to delve into insanity until they eventually died. Some have reported that the Kaizen witnessed by such people had a new mask on their body after the victim passed.
