This didn't come out quite how I imagined it when I set out to draw it, but, then, these things never do. I will say that I had fun with the tail, though.

I'm still trying to figure out if this is bug-like or just skeletal. Either way it looks quite neat. ^.^

It's supposed to be a bug, but some of the segments came out looking very skeletal. It almost makes me think I should toss a hint of a ribcage under the upper body there, and just go with it being some kind of bone golem or somesuch. =P

It does definitely look more skeletal than insectiod, but I definitely like it... reminds me a lot of the Boneyard (or Boneweird) mentioned in the AD&D rulebook Libris Mortis. Which would arguably be a very bad thing for whomever it's going after, but hey.
