The Trek I got to know first was NextGen, I kind of drifted beck to the original series because of it. But of all the original characters, Spock was the one who taught me the most important things.

Especially me, the ugly ducking, the one who never really fit in. The different one.

Spock taught me: Be the different one. Be the one who doesn't look like everyone else, doesn't act like everyone else, doesn't laugh at the same jokes everyone else does, doesn't fit anyone's preconcieved notions.

Square peg, round hole, so what? the shape you are doesn't matter. Be you.
