2012 Mazdaspeed3.
2.3 direct injected turbocharged engine. K04 turbocharger currently. Stock was tuned to 15.5 PSI. Currently custom tuned to 22PSI on 93 octane fuel.
dyno'd at 306whp and 367 ft lbs of torque. Compared to stock around 230whp/263 crank hp.
Current power mods are:
Cobb accessport V3 tuner with custom tune
Cobb short ram intake and turbo inlet pipe.
CXracing front mount intercooler
Turbosmart Kompact bypass valve
Corksport 3 port electronic boost control solenoid (currently in 2 port setup)
Ultimate racing downpipe with high flow cat and non resonated 3 inch catback exhaust
Corksport high pressure fuel pump internals (cam driven fuel pump for direct injection)
Miscellaneous items:
Corksport short shift adapter plate.
"cobb knob" shift knob
red "Bride" material shift boot
LED interior light all around
20% tint all around
Custom defrost vent gauge pod with Prosport EVO boost gauge.
Lowered on Megan Racing EZ street coilovers
Konig Deception 18x8 wheels wrapped in 225/40 R18 Bridgestone Potenza RE970AS tires
Every single thing except the tune was performed/installed by me including the tires and the custom wheel alignment.
Hopefully sometime this summer ill be upgrading the turbo to a BNR S3 with the GT28 CHRA. port Intake manifold and VTCS delete with direct port methanol injection D02 Injector nozzles for each port. Install an oil catchcan. EGR valve delete. and tune to 25psi on 93/E85 4 gal mix. and for handling, JBR competition rear sway bar and upgrading the brakes to Willwood 6 piston calipers and 2 piece rotors up front
All this with no check engine light! (may be cheating a bit because i can tune those out with the accessport)
A whole lot of gibberish to the non initiated. In short, More power than i need and ill probably get in trouble with it.
See you on the track
P.S. I use the freakin bike rack. Daily/racecar life, yo.

It's the variable tumble control system. It is a series of flaps on the intake runners that open and close and its controlled by vacume pressure. Its there for emissions to help get the catylitic converter to operating temperature.
Thank you! Its deffinetly been a money pit.
The tires are bridgestone re970AS pole positions. I'm at like 87/32nds in the front and 9/32nds in the rear lol. Ive only put about 7000 miles on them.
