po-tato did this really interesting 'bust' of Dragon Lotus, in lotus position (sorta). It's supposed to have a transparent background, but the resize lost the transparency, and I don't know how to get it back. :( IrfanView apparently doesn't recognize transparency. Gah.Dragon Lotus is my Kaiju Combat kickstarter character, with her own Kaiju Combat Wiki entry! :)
The game is in development, and has private alpha release on Steam already, so it's probably only a matter of time before we get to play around with this and other characters. macroceli and duncan are in it, too!

Oooh. nice!
Talking about Kaijus, did you hear about another indie dev game called Kaiju-a-gogo?
It's still in development but it basically looks like it would be an isometric 2d game inspired by XCom where the player controls a mad scientist out to conquer the world with a Kaiju of their creation.
It had a funding campaign of it's own that managed to achieve successful funding on Indiegogo.

Well it only met basic goal but so far sound promising. It will release with one mad scientist/Kaiju pair, but if it sells well other mad scientists and Kaijus should be added as DLC(they were originally stretch goals).
If anything, this would not be too different from what they achieved with Sword of the Stars: The Pit, a roguelike game they previously attempt to crowdfund as well. It met only partial funding goal on indiegogo(indiegogo, unlike kickstarter, is not an all or nothing deal so even partially funded projects who don't mean their basic goals can still cash in) but still had enough to start development.
As a results they started with only 3 characters and their basic roguelike dungeon crawling gameplay and later, as the game proved successful began adding back things that were originally planed as stretches goals(which were not meant since even basic goal wasn't met) via paid DLCs.
Getting the game out was at their own costs due to it's partial funding, but it's proved successful that through DLCs(which also added tons of new monsters, items and layers to the dungeon) they went from a base of only 3 human characters to a character roster of at least 8-9 covering all the playable races of the Sword of the Stars universe(which is itself a 4X strategy game).
So if you ever wished to play a roguelike game where you can play as simian lizard people, psychic telekinetic telepath dolphins empath, space dragon-bird taur mercenary or psychic marsupials(reformed and, as of recently, undead edition are avaiable) The Pit is your game.
Oh, and I forgot the bug soldier dude too(who start with a hand-held flamethrower as one of his sidearms).
