Never seen a palomino with that coloration. Was it a prototype?

Nope, she's not a prototype, at least to my limited knowledge. From what I know, a small number of these "reverse" palominos were made along with the regular ones. As to their origin, I'm not certain. Either one of G&G's members had a few made like with the special Black Beauty horse or it was a manufacturing goof. I suppose that would be a question for Draco or Chunksta as I'm sure one of them would know.

The reverse palos were actually a manufacturing error, they made about 6 before they realised the mistake. Some are also made with a repair on one side, as they used two left sides to make them, if you hold the head to the light, you can see the print on the inside of one side. The repair is sealing the valve hole it would have had, and finally, one half is slightly textured, the other smooth as its inside out. They reprinted half again to use up the sides.

Early days we were learning. Who ever started assembling them thought they were all made from one side, not a left and a right panel...

Thanks for the information my good sir. *runs and checks Silver in the light* Yep sure enough, she's got the print on the inside. I just thought that was some sort of weird dirt before. Oddly enough, it's in her right ear too. I don't think either side is inside out though as she doesn't have a patch on the side in the valve's location. Either way, the reverse and regular palos are such beautiful creatures. You guys did a great job on them .
