I've been feeling rather raw of late. Random acts of inhumanity have been leaving deeper marks than usual on my spirit. Oddly, this didn't affect me like it should have. I don't know if I'm getting over it or if I am able to accept, deep down, that a friend with a gun can be a welcome sight when one is truly in a bad way.
Regardless of my confusion, this gave me something to think about. You're very good at that.

Another untold and (deliberately) forgotten side of the great war, and you had brought it to us in a wonderful, yet chilling, manner. Great work
When I read the story my brain started to create a mind picture of D9s pushing away Lancaster's wrecked fuselage off of Manston's runway while all around fitters are salvaging everything intact from unfortunate bombers, it's rather eerie
(Yes, I know Cat D9 was made in the '50s but that's the only specific dozer type ever recorded by my mind, by far).
