It may be an obvious thing to say - but I really like the contrast between the ruins and the nomad/stalker style clothing, and his bright fox oranges.
Kind of like the tree on top of the skyscraper - it adds some hope to the depressive survival that's the leading theme of most post apocalyptic worlds.
