These are quick sketches I did of Isabella "Harmony" Sanchez from Move to the Music. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/931144/ Isabella's hobbies and interests have make her the sexy geek-girl of the group. Her hobbies and interests make her just as home in a con as they do on stage. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/794648/ http://www.furaffinity.net/view/794645/
Before people start picking apart the Galaxy Class Enterprise I show her with please remember I drew from memory and I have not taken a good look at one in a couple years. I do wish I had the cool adjustable work table she has for modeling and fabricating equipment for the band.
Isabella is also interested in martial arts which she has incorporated into her dance style on stage. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/804459/ http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1006433/ http://www.furaffinity.net/view/852817/ At the bottom we see practicing her stretching exercises. Her preferred area of study is the staff, which mimics the controller she uses on stage.

Well, the obvious comeback is that the kit was a standard Enterprise but she's enough of a fan/modeller to kitbash it to fit a different ship, or perhaps even an alternate timeline or fan story she'd created herself. That sounds 'way more like what you've described of her personality than just sticking with what came from the shop!
I really like the "Model Builder" image at the top of this piece. Recently, I saw a special on the old George Pal version of the "WAR OF THE WORLDS," and in the commentary from the main actress of the show, she claimed she was so impressed with the tiny model martian tripods the statisticians were pushing around on a world map, and that she always regretted not getting one. "The pieces were all stolen by lunch time" she remarked. Now I wonder how many are left in the world.
If I remember correctly, the studio model of the Enterprise-D was roughly the same size to a normal person as that one in the picture is to Isabella. I had several starship models when I was younger; including Enterprise-A & Reliant models whose saucer sections were roughly the same diameter as the average car steering wheel. Sadly my childhood models were all destroyed when an arsonist burned down my house, but I still remember them.
