For those who knows Paok knows he is an glorified asshole. He hates those creepy dumb witted Joes. Why they tend to 'break' around him. Let's say he tend to work by himself now, Joes aren't cheap!
TL;DR:
Being an experimental android for the Seegson Corporation, Paok is actually a very odd specimen. Seegson, who were desperately trying to compete against Weyland-Yutani, had slowly lost investors over the decades and in a final attempt, threw everything they had into one line of android to finally compete against their rival's 'David 8' models. Being forced to cut corners to keep costs reasonable, they went for a more metallic frame and inorganic chipset. This was derived from the thinking that silicon based devices can be manufactured much quicker and cheaper than 'growing' synthetic tissue that the Joe and David lines used. Unfortunately, Seegson wouldn't seen any profit from the Novus line of androids as W/Y eventually bought out the struggling company and recycled the old mining colonies as uncontested and unrestrained facilities for illegal and immoral testing. This leaves Paok strained, as he boots up as a Seegson android but answers to his rival, Weyland...
