Endless Realms bestiary - Sand Raptor
Bestiary artwork for Endless Realms, a D&D-like "pen and paper" fantasy RPG I'm working for.
Another desert beastie - I've loved theropods since I was a little kid, so yeah, I enjoyed this one :V Basically your average dromaeosaur, except we were thinking, there's not a lot of places to hide - maybe he uses those fins for shuffling sand over himself to wait in ambush, in addition to heat regulation?

Could always add in the ability that octopuses have as well.
The ability to change skin pigment to the area around it, basically perfectly mimicking the surrounding area. Of course if you saw a big lump of sand somewhere in the middle of nowhere, either way, you'll know either something is up, or you're dumb and fall for it. xD
