So, I've been working on getting a children's book in the works for...literally...years! I keep tossing ideas and various series of mine back and forth, but just the other day, I circled back to Bella Mariposa and the thought of a young Mari and Miele really appeals to me.

I've always been fascinated by tiny worlds. The mechanics of making a home from a nutshell, or bathing in a droplet of water, or fashioning clothing from flower petals...all of those things have always caught my interest ever since I was just a little girl. So, with that in mind, I'm going to try making something work with the Bella girls.

The working title for this children's series is, "Bella Mariposa: Bell Flowers". Also, I should add that the stories here probably won't match up to those of the more mature series. For example, in the children's version, Mari and Miele are sisters (Mari's parent's adopted Miele) and they all live together in their little tree home. So...yeah...very different from the other version ^_^

Anyway, I'm going to keep trying to get a good book off the ground. That's my mission! I just need to sort out a story. Here I go!
