And the conclusion, at least for now. You didn't think I was making the effort to get this story completely posted for no reason did you? :P

I probably should have started reading this prior to "Back to the Stars" but oh well, what's done is done. I actually have an idea who the Tenabi are now! I'm sure either you or incongruency will fuss at me for reading this as it is, instead of waiting for the prettied up version but too bad. Richter, Marcus, Mas, Shiva, and Kiya's adventures were certainly engaging and dragged me from one chapter to the next! Admittedly, Mas and Marcus stand out in particular given how cute a couple they have the potential to be. Richter for being all Manly McBeeferton and kicking ass and taking names.
I know space plus mechs plus giant fuzzies have been done before, but I liked your take on it! Marcus and Richter bumbling upon a WWII era world populated by giant foxes. Their struggle to not interfere with the planet and population's development was a nice touch, though that sentiment had to go right out the window once it was found out the Zarft were already uplifting and equipping a giant army for their own nefarious purposes. More than anything, I'm impressed at how you were able to establish a setting, characters, and plot and then manage to neatly wrap it all up in a reasonable length of time! Got your stuff done in twelve chapters as opposed to my ever growing amount. Did like the poignant end for Marcus though. He survived, albeit scarred and not in any shape to return to duty soon if ever. Props on bucking the trend of everyone lives happily ever after. At least until you wrote "Road to Recovery" but that did a fine job exploring Marcus' frustrations and challenges on adapting to and eventually escaping civilian life. All in all, a fine story!
