Purple (Glossy) Starling

A resident breeder in tropical Africa, the Purple Starling has metallic purple feathers upon it’s head and glossy green wings, though is dull as a juvenile (aren’t we all?). They are rather noisy with much chattering and feed on fruit and insects.
