Symbol Species Doc and Sacred Spanking Sanction
The Symbol
[Feline like creatures, they are moderately fluffy, and have strange writings inscribed upon their bodies that glow.]
Origin of Name:
Their name origin is pretty straight forward. They possess bioluminescent symbols on various regions of their bodies.
History/Origin:
Symbols communicate with the Dreamwalkers from Endless. Dreamwalkers are actually intended to be their messengers and assistants, although sometimes the troublesome Dreamwalkers have other ideas.
Symbols are very peaceful creatures who want to help and assist the whole world to the fullest of their ability—whether their help is wanted or not. Their species set up Bright Horizons: Sacred Spanking Sanction, also known as simply, Bright Horizons, an organization known all throughout the galaxy. They have multiple branches in multiple regions and some even off the planet of Shattermind.
One of the perhaps, odder facts of these aliens is their heavy reliance on disciplinarian action against all perceived wrong. They do it with pure intent of course, but many find their practices to be a bit, odd, stalkerish, and overall just plain overstepping boundaries.
Regardless, the Symbols have taken it upon themselves to spank all the wrong doers, repetitively and continually so long as they see fit. They are in constant communication with the Dreamwalkers and have these creatures from Distortion gather information on the inhabitants of the land so that they may have guidance and direction of where their sacred spanking technique must take them.
Appearance and Personality:
Symbols look a lot like Keh’kitteh without whiskers. They are usually significantly fluffier and their patterns and markings are quite a bit different than the other feline species.
Symbols are said to have a sort of pure, innocent and holy look about them. However, they do not hold themselves in a proud or snobbish regard. Quite the contrary, they are very accepting of others but not of their wrong deeds. They truly do care for all. And all their speech of loving everyone? Totally sincere and true. The Symbol really do believe they are doing everyone a favor. Their super care leads them to behave many ways ranging anywhere from sweet and apologetic to strict and relentless.
Habitat:
They travel, but they do have temples and other facilities. They favor white color schemes and light bright colors, or earthy tones.
Intelligence and Emotional Capacity:
Average. They are incredibly emotional creatures who attach themselves to others super-fast. They are probably the most caring, selfless creatures in the whole galaxy. Despite their odd tendencies, they are greatly appreciated by society for their willingness to help however they can.
Health:
Very good.
About Bright Horizons: Sacred Spanking Sanction
Bright Horizons has a lot of different sections to its name. The most well-known aspect is the school and the church-like facility.
Bright Horizons school, as could be expected, has a wonderful reputation for the quality curriculum and dedicated teaching staff. Not surprisingly, a whole lot of spanking goes on at said school though. The kids who attend it, whatever species they may be, are not always nearly as enthused about the school as their parents. However the school isn’t unfair in what they expect. They do have higher standards than what most public schools are known for though. The environment is very friendly and caring. All students get individual attention and help wherever they are struggling. The teachers also encourage their students to be a part of the church-like commune which is not directly connected to the school but in the same region.
The Sacred Spanking Sanction Disciplinary Disciples are those who strive to bring right to the world and help those who are going down wrong paths. As their name suggests, they act as a disciplinary force, both to each other—keeping one another accountable, and then going out into their mission field. Their mission field is where many an alien starts feeling a bit uncomfortable. The Disciplinary Disciples and other Bright Horizons faculty do not care if the recipients think they want to partake in being disciplined. It’s a free gift, with only the best in mind. Not surprisingly the members of any of their organizations have a reputation for going around spanking poor innocent people who they’ve never even met before. Of course, to the Symbols and the others in their organizations, it doesn’t seem weird at all! After all they already know about everyone thanks to the Dreamwalkers and it’s their civil duty to assist all the fullest of their ability.
The Bright Horizons community has many “levels” of those who attend, depending on their time there and level of proper behavior development. Aside from their somewhat odd methods of correction and enforcement they do still have a lot of good, moral values that deal with treating others nicely and overall making the world a better place to live while respecting the ever important balance of the universes and all living creatures. They have a heavy focus on selfless love of others and also the importance and recognition that Distortion and the Ink Author are real things, truly existing and that one must watch out for their messengers, guarding themselves from the potential havoc it could wreak.
Bright Horizons Institute (The Institute)
This is actually a science facility, run in part by the Symbol, but also the Vraadratt and a number of other scientists. One division of it studies the unknown and unexplained. It is also where highly disturbed individuals are taken—disturbed individuals when the cause is not known. Bright Horizons helps to rehabilitate them through various means and eventually if they become stable enough, welcomes them to be one of the members of their organization where they care for them and continue to help them. They have a great success rate and several of their helped patients have chosen to stay with them and become correction councilors, purifiers and all sorts of other things.
Ranks, and Titles
Vizier, the head authority of the main organization; this individual is the overseer of everything and also the principle of the school.
Inquisitor, helps to determine where an individual stands and what particular course of action should be set in place as curriculum upon joining.
Purifier, a fancy name for a Symbol or member who spanks the crud out of people until they behave. These are usually the field missionaries.
Seer, overseers of the organization(s) they check to make sure all is well, dealing with minor problems as needed. If large problems are arising, they will inform the Vizier.
Councilor, as their name suggests, they’re there to council with others, whether of the organization or outside of it.
Correction Councilor, unlike the councilor, a correction councilor is a mixture of an ear to hear, giving advice and direction, as well as carrying out disciplinary action, specifically only to those they know and work with.
Spirit Watcher, much like the Purifiers, Spirit Watchers are also spankers of sorts, although they usually are overseeing one specific individual as opposed to disciplining whoever it brought to them.
Symbols believe routine, maintenance spankings are a healthy part of directing one’s path and serve as a reminder.
The Symbols also believe that all are redeemable with time and effort.
If Symbols ever stumble upon anyone who spanks, they assume them to be working on a path of virtue much like themselves and warmly welcome and encourage them.
The Symbol simply will not leave others alone, even if asked to.
Any species may join Bright Horizons, but only Symbols have the natural ability to communicate and direct Dreamwalkers. Other species are welcome to all other aspects and benefits the program has to offer though.
If the Dreamwalkers cause too much trouble, the Symbols will spank them; something other species wouldn’t dare consider.
Symbols will always proclaim they are on a mission of love and wish only the best for all.
Despite their gentle nature, they are not at all gentle or lenient about their strong belief and support of spanking wrong doers.
The Symbols have been known to adopt orphans, allowing them to live within the facility, caring and raising them up to be productive citizens of society.
