Contrary to belief, Izanagi Jo is not a direct employee of the studio. He is in fact the owner of the local chain of custom-tailoring shops, "Arriette Silk & Styles." Izanagi designs the stage outfits that Tojo wears for her performances, and holds a contract with the studio preventing him from doing so for any other idol. Izanagi is a comical character. He walks around and talks as if her were some Yakuza kingpin, but he chews the scenery so much that the only people who take him seriously are his employees. The girls at the studio are quick to put him in his place if he gets too out of hand, though.
