He was once a human like you - in a world where magicians commanded powerful demons most foul. Having put his noses into too much, he was ordered to be killed... left to die, one of those demons walked up to him - a body for life. Zenk chose to take it, too afraid to die. The two then became one, forming a new life form altogether - one of those new kinds of demons that could not be bound by a master.
Now, flesh and blood, but also metal, Zenk went for revenge. Clearly nothing that should have been part of this world at all - a life form where it's ambiguous as to whether or not he's actually metal or not. Parts feel scaly, yet the metal behaves as flesh - a heart still beats in his chest, he breathes, smiles, and blood flows through his veins. He even still eats... things to make into metal to become part of his own body. He doesn't use magic, he uses his own body - it IS magic itself. Merging with teh demon does have a few side effects apart from having your body shifted... it is a little more beneficial though. Compared to... you know... DYING.
