Name: Ourrou
Diet: Fish, fish, fish, meat, more meat, you, your grandmother, your dog, ESPECIALLY your dog.
Habitat: The darker and colder the waters, the better. Ourrou's are usually found near the poles, and only travel to warmer waters to give birth.
Other: Ourrou swim in small pods, generally in groups of five, though in rare cases that has doubled when food is plentiful. The glow of their tentacles can be 'turned off' so to speak, casting them in darkness. They use this to their advantage when hunting. One will remain lit, letting their tentacles drag behind them, attracting curious prey, that the others will quickly swoop in and devour. They take turns doing this, relying heavily on the light as a means of getting their catch. If an Ourrou looses their light, be it via old age where the glow slowly dims and winks out, or the tentacles are ripped off, they are deemed useless to the pod, and predator turns to prey. They do not care for the old and weak.
When mating season comes around, male Ourrous leap out of the water for reasons the StarDragons don't really understand. The StarDragons that walk on land think it majestic, and relate the brief moments of being airborne and the patterns that decorate the Ourrou's limbs to being butterfly like. The StarFishers just think they're stupid, frankly.
