Hi guys! This was the "big" original piece I took to RF. It sold--not for as much as I'd have liked, of course--BUT it at least made it to auction! The other big one which I'll post tomorrow went for minimum bid. Ouch! LOL Anyway, hope you like this one--it's acrylic and couache and the size was about 10x20 inches.

My only critique is that the head looks too large for the body and the eyes are slightly cross-eyed. I can sympathize with that, though. I make the same mistakes on my drawings.
The rest of the work is worthy of presentation in something like the Chicago Art Museum or Buckingham Palace or the Louvre.

I did it the night before the show...NOT. Seriously--I actually started this painting last year, then set it aside and thought about finishing it for RCFM, but didn't have time and then decided I needed something nice for RF and since it was already half done... Overall, I suppose I spent about 20 ours on it. So, since it sold for about $250 at auction I made about $12.50 an hour from it. LOL Hopefully I'll sell a few prints as well.
Yeah, I was pretty shocked. I picked up both of these originals! This wolf hangs on my wall and has incredible detail all over. My eye keeps wandering over the wonderful symmetry and the detail speaks of your exceptional talent.
The Anubis was a gift for SnowWolf. He was totally stoked by the piece.
Thank you for offering such fantastic pieces in the art show. I should have taken you to dinner one night as a thank you. Feel free to poke me if your in the SF Bay Area and we'll grab a steak and some brews. ;)

Hi! Thanks so much for popping in to let me know you picked them up! I always hate that my paintings sometimes just disappear into the void and I don't know who bought them, or why, etc. It's always nice to know the fate of a piece I like--and whatever their problems, I liked both of these pieces! I'm glad you liked them enough to give them a home--or rather, two homes! LOL
Anyway, I thank you very much for buying them and for saying hi!
*Hugs!* ^0^
