On my lunch break at work today I felt like sketching.
It didn't take me long to choose a subject.
The sketch was given a little more life once I got home and jumped on my computer.

Just a quick little something to say thank you.
He has given me tons of encouragement in the form of comments, favorites and general kind words. Its not often I get a chance to make free art (always on commissions from DA and Chatlands lol) but I thought this guy really deserved some. I highly admire genuine kindness in a person. ^^
So again, thank you Ghoul for the kindness you have shown me in the short time I have been here ^^

I had planned to give him a grin or cheeky expression but the sketch kinda formed itself. He had such a serene, almost distant look and I kinda fell in love with it. Majestic as you say, fitting for the context. Oh I know but I have to say, more than often, when doing personal work, art art chooses itself, creates itself. I had thought of you and so the art reflected you. I require no repayment, no special thanks. The art was made 'because' of you, more so than simply 'for' you. I enjoyed the piece, as I always do when my art takes its own direction so I should be thanking you for the inspiration haha!
