something i did for
zega10 on a total whim. saw this in his gallery asking for tips so i thought ide give my 2 seance.
from what i do when i draw my own males. i included some of the simple skeletal guides i use. i kept it close to the wayhe was drawing to try and keep with what style he was showing in his linework. if your gonna draw muscular males i sudjest going with a neck thats thicker and shorter. Depending on the species alot of animals have wider heads unline people who are a bit more oblong in comparrision. From what you had down i say your doing alright for just starting out. important to study real anatomy. people anatomy. drawing digi-grade legs isint a great place to start in my opinoin. i personally dont like them to much because they can be hard to make look right. They can also make characters look obscenly tall to. dosnt mean dont draw them if you wanna. just be aware making them look right can be a chore. study animal anatomy to get a better idea on how to draw them. im by no means an authority on anthro art. i dont belive there are many in the fandom i would consider such because 1. there are a number of artist that piggyback on popular styles. 2. people's taste vary to an absurd degree which is good and bad. if you find any of this helpfull great. best advice is keep practicing..like all the time. Also one thing i see that bothers me is people rushing to draw adult themed art. my advice is dont. i see to many people on fa whom dont have any grasp of anatomy drawing gobs of doodled porn and at the risk of sounding like some sort of elitist it hurts my eyes. I know everyone has to start somewhere but starting with adult art without being able to draw a decent figure is a bad start.
