You may remember this from its inked version a few months back. Finally managed to finish up the colors digitally. I rather like what I'm doing with digital coloring and shading. It still feels like I'm utilizing the basic skills I have with traditional media only digitally. Plus, it doesn't look like 90% of the digital coloring that's out there already.
By the way, this is pretty much the type of coloring one might expect from a piece if they were to commission me for a digital... uh... commission.
Iron Man and Captain "Stick up his ass" Er... uhm... I mean America © Marvel Comics.

Pffffffft. We're talkin' about Marvel Comics here. The written rule was "Only Bucky stays dead". The unwritten rule was "Uncle Ben's gotta stay dead."
Cap ain't dead. He's just waiting until somebody stumbles on that clone Stark made of him that one night that neither one of them is willing to ever mention again.

I think he is dead and gone myself. I mena, they killed him off to make a political statement about current events, so unless they welch on that then he is going to continue not being alive. Besides, they got their solution to him being dead, simply replacing him by someone else using his costume or shield.
Still, its Marvel. And in all seriousness that's the way they work. One editorial team and one writing team comes along and decides to do a major shake it up story. But as soon as those responsible leave, all bets are off. At any time after there's nothing to say a new team won't come along, decide they don't like the current status quo, and think of some way to retcon things.
Colossus from X-Men died sacrificing himself to cure the legacy Virus. Then Joss Whedon came in and wrote a terribly silly story to loophole Colossus back to life.
That's just Marvel for ya.
