You really do wonder just how long they have to sit around waiting for those damn rings... they seem to be fairly sparse... and any normal impatient person would just go diving.

They're not lying at the bottom of the pool, there's a device down there that generates the rings (it uses the water as cooling), so there's no real option but to wait for it to make one.
