what kinda clay are you using?

This is just super sculpey. It's grey because we mixed sculpey III (black and white) with it. Our teacher has us do that in order to create a more opaque material. The original pink sculpey is really see thru and kills most of the details because of it.

you must be using a different super sculpey cause the kind i have is flesh colored and extremely opaque. you cannot see though it. though who am I to question your teacher, since i don't know shit. i can tell you that I am currently working in super sculpey and it doesn't seem to do that.

I guess the grey's just supposed to show the details better. I've witnessed it. We did this last semester too, and someone entered a sculpture from outside of our class into the student show. While also just being a horrible sculpt, the flesh colored normal sculpey also ate up the detail the guy was trying to do.

We're just using normal sculpey, in the green boxes. I like the grey tho...if you ever want to paint it, it's already like having primer on it.

Cos I go far with my sculptures, realistic detail and patterns and stuffs... And anatomy. XD
Hrm... what would I rate it? Well, in my class, I'd say a 10, cos I want to do the best that I possibly can. This is only my second sculpture, but I kinda have a knack for it and I really want to push it far.
