Wanted to give watercolor another try and I've had this headshot sketched up for a lil while. I guess I'm kinda happy with how it turned out. The eye face and neck\chest area look the best I think. Hopefully you like it
(also, ignore the random black spots... brand new sharpie pen straight out of the case and it wanted to f*cking leak everywhere. I really hate pens..)

Make a study with different levels of paper wetness! Also don't stop with only one colour or two. You can create with some practice interessting flows this way. E. g. for fire, sky, water,...
Also your paper looks somewhat rough. Grain torchon respectively rough paper is not good for high details like in portraits or for characters in general. I prefer grain satiné with at least 300g/m² for all of my pokemon paintings. Satined the finest surface of watercolour paper.
