It felt like an eternity before they were out of the ravine’s dangers, and Aysel could finally breathe again as soon as she was put on the edge.

Slightly sinking away in the mud, she was so happy that they were both safe and unharmed, but deep inside she knew that her father would probably be furious that she hasn't been staying within the borders of Giza Msitu.

She gently nuzzled her exhausted father, her breathing as fast and unsteady as his.
With trembling paws she curled up against him, and she dropped a crushed and drenched flower in front of him on the ground. It was her own little desert rose, even though she had no clue that it wasn't more than a regular valley-flower.
"I got you a desert rose, daddy" she whispered softly as she looked down at the tiny pile of a few leaves and a stem that she had dropped from her mouth.


Laying on his side, her father was benumbed by the cold rain and especially by the effort he had to give to get them to safety. His eyes could express so much as he stared at her, tired but still sharp, a glint of mixed emotions in them as she spoke those words. He was too exhausted to talk. Hellhound looked as if he would just close his eyes back, blinking slowly as the rain fell.


Aysel swallowed as she looked at her own paws, knowing that she had done some stupid things... She risked her own, and her fathers life for a flower, just as an attempt to cheer him up.
"I-I~I'm so sorry... I... I just wanted to make you feel... happy again..." She squeaked, her ears laying flat onto her head as she looked at him.


Opening his eyes he would turn his head and body a bit straighter and would lose track as he gazed at her, tying to get his breath back as the stress and fear slowly dissipated from his body. Hellhound’s panting lowered as he motioned to look over her, noticing the bleeding right away, ignoring his own aching paws as he would wrap her in. She was the most precious flower of the two, keeping her in safety as if she could disappear in seconds and slip away from him.
