This is a pretty cool little guitar. The CN-240 is fender's attempt to make nylon string guitars more accessible to steel string acoustic and electric guitar players. It has a thinner neck width than a standard classical guitar making it more comfortable and familiar feeling for those not used to classical guitars. It comes loaded with awesome an awesome sounding Fishman preamp and pickup. It also has a generous cutaway making the higher frets accessible to the player. The other really cool thing they have done is put a compensated 1/8" saddle slot in this guitar making it better intonated than most nylon string guitars and thus making it play in tune with itself better. I have also added a few improvements of my own! I have installed a bone nut and compensated saddle to further help this instruments already stellar intonation and tone. The camel bone nut and buffalo bone saddle were both custom cut for this guitar from raw bone stock here at the shop. Both beautifully sculpted and polished by hand to look and perform their best. I have also given the frets on this guitar a complete professional level crown and polish. They are perfectly level and crowned for great tone and intonation and have been buffed out to a mirror shine. This guitar also comes freshly loaded with a brand new set of D'adderio Pro Arte' rectified nylon strings and a professional setup to make it play and sound it's best. My guitars may not be the cheapest on craigs list, but I let my work speak for itself and I believe that the tone, playability and piece of mind are worth buying from a trained and professional luthier.
