WHAT HAVE WE H--

Guys I have been so cussing busy these last few days I don't even know how long it's been since I've replied to stuff on here or posted but it feels like a week okay so I just checked and it was like two days ago but I've been bustin' balls for this convention.

BUT
GETTIN' IT DONEEE.

In the last 2/3ish days I:

Put down money for the hotel and ticket,

Put together a display board for the con,

Bought most of the supplies I need for the con,

Bought a new fiskar's craft knife for the badges,

Moved all the crap off of it/set up the art desk for working on the badges,
Went through a mountain of craptastic traditional work and put together a binder of samples for the con,

Went through the one thousand something submissions on here to choose pieces for digital samples,

Printed, sorted, cutout, glued, and organized about 100-something printed digital samples for the con in a binder,

Had to put sparkly star stickers on top of all the dongs and pusses and bits in the NSFW section because if I brought a whole separate binder for NSFW I wouldn't have any work space at all on the tabletop D8 (I'll tell you what, it is as frustrating as it is amusing picking out different sized cute stars to paste creatively over a dick. I may or may not have made a game out of it.)

Put aside a notebook for commission information logging at the con,

Bought a rolling bag that will fit the five Copic sets I need to bring to the alley, the endless fucking gelpen army I own, and my binders/sign/other misc stuff. (W-Which is a significant improvement from last year when I brought a tired old duffel bag that was literally ripping at the seams and not very space conservative or easy to carry. At all.)

-Made a printed/laminated desk stand up

-Ordered my first business cards EVER and at first I was dreading the process but that was actually kind of fun

-Working on an updated badge for myself but I'll probably bump that to the back of the line

And whatever the hell else has happened what even is memory retention. I DO actually remember driving home tonight and noticing how pretty the full moon looked in the twilight pink/purple sky while I had 'Africa' by Toto on full blast and was singing loudly and badly to it.

But I just noticed I didn't remember that I had made myself a bowl of mint ice cream and now it's a frothy puddle. 8C YOU WIN SOME YOU LOSE SOME?

Anyway- Here's my final card design. It went through about a hundred changes. First it was nebulae, then it was black and white stripes, then chalkboard, then Jack Daniel's themed, then Jurassic Park themed, then dragon themed, then slightly Nightmare Before Christmas themed, then nautical themed like the rest of my setup for the con-- but I have these fall stickers and I thought it would be hella cool to take them and put them on each card- like three or so on each card so they would all be sliiighhhttly different from each other.

And as for the plan now-
I was wanting to work on personal art and more copic samples for the con- but priority is as follows:

1. Current commission queue
2. Replying to FWA Pre-order badge notes
3. Working on badges
4. Sidenote: I originally limited the badges to 10 slots because I thought no one would want them and I didn't want to push my luck but you guys are so incredibly generous and kind and supportive and iusdhfudf what are words, anyway-- I MIGHT take on ten more, but more likely I will finish off a batch of ten and if anyone wants one after that I'll take more orders.
