"As a Dracologist, there are a few things I've come to learn and accept as general rules. Among them is that dragons, majestic as they may be, can be rather difficult to work with safely. Some are easily angered, some get distracted (or just plain don't care where you are when they move), and some, as depicted here, suddenly up and decide that their guest would make a tasty snack."
(Don't worry, determined as I may have been to live, I couldn't bring myself to actually attempt to harm the dragoness. I managed to get her to cough me up with a bit of sweet-talking and a promise to get her some more substantial food.)
"I strongly advise caution when dealing with dragons of any shape or size, as one misstep can result in a tragic end for the unwary."
This image... is extremely old. >.> It's so old, in fact that I made it years before my actual reference sheet, in pencil. I wanted to finally get around to finishing it and posting it, and ultimately had to update it quite a bit from the original piece. This is the first time I've really attempted to add liquid into any kind of digital image, and I'm honestly unsure if I did all that well; I kinda just reached a point of "If I mess with it any further then I'll muck it all up." Kudos to IncredibleEdibileCalico for their little tutorial image on drool.
