It's a curse(one of the few not done by Othello!) she got before she started dating Wilbur.
Basically when it was decided she was gonna be a OES I thought of The Shaggy Dog, even naming the piece The Shaggy GF a play on it's sequel The Shaggy DA(not the Tim Allen crap). So thank my love of old movies for the plagiarism XD
