It started out as just a normal day for Colonel Jack Steel and his troops. Stationed over in what seemed like a peaceful part of a war torn country, Jack Steel patrolled the compound his troops barracks was set up in near the town and saw Private Barns sitting on a stone bench with his back against a brick wall, sketching in his art book while a local little girl watched with interest. Steel was never one to interrupt anyone when they were off duty and smiled at the little girl when she looked at him. But then as lunch time rolled around, an explosion tore through a near by building and gun fire spread throughout the base like wild fire. In just thirty minutes after the first explosion Steel was in the front lines of the battle with his troops, running from one area to another to give the enemy a taste of his Desert Eagle and his fists when they were foolish enough to try to fight him at close range. He eventually found his way to the spot that Private Barns was at and saw blood on the wall, Steel's heart sank for just a brief minute until he found the blood lead to a terrorist dead on the ground and Private Barns holding his ground with the little girl hiding behind him without a scratch on her. By the time the sun was setting, the terrorists were dead or captured, while the troops and town's people suffered only some injuries and damages to the base and town.

This is a introductory to my newest character Colonel Jack Steel who is Ironhide's oldest friend and the only other member to survive from Ironhide's squad from his Army days.
