Applebuns are a species created by

Applebuns are a rabbit-like species with fluffy apple shaped tails. The stem is solid, like a branch or bone and (if they have one) the leaf is soft and velvety. They have rabbit-like ears and (usually) small feet. They are commonly simple in body markings, their tails often having most of the attention with complex markings.
These markings are not there from birth. An applebun's markings are formed once they find their "favorite food". Applebuns almost always love apples and anything apple flavored. Once they find that special "dish", they go through a "shedding" process. All their previous hair falls off and they grow back a new coat. One that is like the dish they love so much. Though, not every applebun loves apples! Rarely, an applebun can fall in love with other dishes such as pumpkin pie or blueberry oatmeal, and their tail will change shape to look similar(obviously Cindy loves pumpkin dishes)!
Applebuns are usually born with a palette based off of one of the basic apple types. (i.e granny smith, gala, fuji)
