I miss blue jays. West Nile got 'em all here.

I had a whole family in the yard this year along with a nice cardinal couple. Those jays were SO raucous. They rock!

I rarely seen one and if I do they hang out at the front, along with the red craindrial.(sp)

I'm quite lucky, I've got trees all over the place here and one very old, very HUGE magnolia tree that is host to countless bird families. I watched the young jays learn to fly, hop around with their parents and finally fly around making lots of noise and attacking other birds....same with the cardinals here too (though the cardinals weren't very raucous); it's like a red and blue smorgasbord. :D

*hugs* Well I don't know about flawless. It's not perfect by any means, but the picture turned out well, at least in the head detail.

As for what I do, my job? I'm a rooster, stud. I strut around looking good and laying the hens....or whatever I can get hold of.

Thanks! I agree with you totally. I have several pairs that hang around my place during the summer, quite beautiful birds. __and they don't take nonsense from anybody! I love it when the swoop down and attack cats in the neighborhood.
