A gentle wind and rain
Giving new life
Cleansing the air
Healing the tired wounds of the earth.
Flowers bend with the weight of the water
Their leaves tipping to give nourishment to their aching roots
Thunder rolls through the darkened sky
A deep sound of the air surrendering to the gods
The wind is charged
Thick
Crackling
and anxious
Ready to give it's energy to the earth
But instead the energy splits through the clouds
Vibrant blue and white
Lighting the looming grey darkness
It's messy
Violent
But lovely
Once the storm has passed
it is cool
The air is light and clean
But not yet sunny
The few lingering puffs of grey shield the earth from the heat
Giving the new life time to drink
Giving new life
Cleansing the air
Healing the tired wounds of the earth.
Flowers bend with the weight of the water
Their leaves tipping to give nourishment to their aching roots
Thunder rolls through the darkened sky
A deep sound of the air surrendering to the gods
The wind is charged
Thick
Crackling
and anxious
Ready to give it's energy to the earth
But instead the energy splits through the clouds
Vibrant blue and white
Lighting the looming grey darkness
It's messy
Violent
But lovely
Once the storm has passed
it is cool
The air is light and clean
But not yet sunny
The few lingering puffs of grey shield the earth from the heat
Giving the new life time to drink
