Not that she really *needs* one, since she's pretty plain, but here's the official model sheet for the little mangeball.
I'm making model sheets for each of my comic characters, so I guess she gets to go first. She pushed her way to the front of the line, anyway.

This looks more like a pose sheet than a model sheet. A model sheet should have at least a front, 3/4, and side views. A back view is only necessary when there is details that can be seen that way. I like the facial expressions but one more would be nice. I would show you what I mean on FA but I'm not posting any of my new art or animations til I have official copyrights on them. I am willing to let you see them by Email though.
You know, my deep love for mice, and art of mice, was what got me started watching you (I really got to get around to finishing the design for my mouse character, actually). But what has kept me here is your fun, cute style and your fun, cute personality that shines through everything you draw and write! I love your sense of humor. ^_^
Mice, by virtue of being common, always with us, and generally adorable and awesome (fun pets! cheaper than a dog and just as affectionate! I highly recommend them!), are pretty popular as characters in books and movies and furry art and whatever. Mary stands out precisely because she is "plain." As a character, she's not full of pretenses, or falsities, or hooks, or gimmicks. She just is who and what she is. She doesn't need to wear crazy outfits, shoot lazers at zombie dinosaurs, or wield a sword (don't get me wrong, I adore Redwall and was intrigued by what I've seen of Mouse Guard, I'm just sayin' Mary's cool even without swords, in a way that perhaps Martin the Warrior would not be). She's just this freakin' cute, slightly crazy mouse in a shirt and a hair flower who is fun to watch! As a fellow cute and slightly crazy rodent, I wholeheartedly approve of that. ;)
Squeak squeak lol! ;)

*feels a bit sheepish cause later down the line in her life, she gets a sword... <=)*

But I truly appreciate your assessment of her. Heh, I made her plain on purpose since I myself don't really stand out and tend to fade into the background - although that power is useful at times!

Don't feel sheepish! I said she doesn't need to, and she doesn't, but that doesn't mean it's bad if and when she does. All I mean is that her image as a character goes beyond "swordmouse." Martin the Warrior... dude, it's there in the name. He is a Warrior. Mary is Mary first. That's all I meant.
And, btw, that pic of her is pretty sweet. Very dramatic pose. :D
Too true about the awesome power of ordinariness. It's always those cute ones you gotta watch out for, ne? ha ha ha!
