Hey guys this is just a little sneak peak of my drawing capabilities. Not good at drawing furries yet but I will get there. Drew this about 3 years ago and still draw. Please comment on what you think.

It's quite nice. The composition is good. Rough but good. The shading is quite nice too. Some of the details seem rigid or uneven. All in all, it's quite good and shows you have talent. Keep working on perfecting your style.
Though I really shouldn't be one to criticize others work. Up until a few weeks ago, I hadn't drawn anything in well over a decade. (With the exception of the stencils I make for stained glass but I don't count those)

Thanks yeah I will admit its not the best work of mine. I was drawing it while I was in school. ^.^ But I honestly want to work with stained glass sometime. I just love the art that can come from it. But I definitely plan to perfect my style and after that move onto digital art as well. I'm into concept art a lot and furry digital art. Always have been and I've wanted to work with it myself. But basics come first. I need to regain that drawing hand and eye again. ^.^
That's good you have a goal to strive for. It helps to keep you motivated so you perfect your skills. Always experiment with styles, techniques and mediums cause you will never know what you can take from that and apply to your own style. I'm currently teaching myself to draw more from my subconscious mainly because I'm very self critical about drawing something off the top of my head (especially anything anatomy wise. I was never taught proper techniques). It's wielded what I can only describe as very Salvador Dali/Dr. Seuss-esque results. I may get around to posting something sometime. :p
And as far as stained glass goes, it's a very fun and unique medium but it can be very time consuming, tedious and expensive to work with (both in tools and supplies). I'm not trying to scare you off from it, just forewarning you. I like to call it the Art of Destruction. Nearly every step of the process has you scoring, breaking, grinding, melting, etc. You have to destroy to create. It's a one of a kind art style. If you want to check out some of my older works, you can see them here
ginokami355 I'm also currently working on a couple of experimental pieces. From what I've gathered from some fellow glass artists, it seems the techniques that I'm employing on this project are nothing that they heard of. So if that's right, that means I'm pioneering new techniques for my medium. XD
Oh geez, I just realized I've been quite long winded. >.< I have a tendency to do that sometimes. Sorry bout that.
