Donation Won for CWDTP for Local School
Earlier today, Enterplay LLC (https://www.facebook.com/Enterplayllc) hosted a series of creative writing contests in honor of the official release of the "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: Series 3 Trading Cards". I entered and won!
The official results can be found on Enterplay's Facebook page. But here is what it reads on the official posting for the contest winners.
"...Matthew Palumbo - Caption It! (Applejack Lenticular)..."
Upon receipt, I will be donating this card on behalf of Coping with Disabilities through Pony to a local organization in which assists individuals with special needs.
The winning caption I wrote for the card shown above was as follows...
"Fluttershy takes Rainbow Dash's remark to 'Suck it up' literally by pushing herself to the limits and emptying the town reservoir."
I thank everyone who supported me in this creative win. I really appreciate it and look forward to finding more ways in which I can make Coping with Disabilities through Pony more than just a potentially annual panel.

Thank you. It makes me happy that I was able to do something so creative so fast. The way Enterplay had this going was they posted this at 3:00 PM (EST) and ended the contest at 5:00 PM (EST). Quite the challenge but I loved it!
It also makes me happy to donate the card on behalf of Coping with Disabilities through Pony. I like helping people and this will certainly make someone very happy.

Thank you so much, Nishi. *Snugs* You're support played a key part in the win. Though the biggest win was the energy rush I had in being creative with such a short time window while reaching out to as many folks as I could to help support me to win the contest. It was combining my two strongest talents and it worked out. Huzzah!
The Derpy one wasn't as unique as my other entries. It had the Derpy standee from Series 3 with a UPS box behind her. Derpy's eyes were clearly wall-eyed. So I captioned, "Look what brown did for me." as if to imply bad package handling made her eyes all goofy. (Kind of like how a cartoon character looks all funny after surviving a big fall). :)

It was a crazy contest. They started one part at 1:00 PM (EST), another at 2:00 PM (EST), and the final at 3:00 PM (EST). Each contest ended at 5:00 PM (EST). If you had the most likes for your reply on a given entry by 5:00 PM (EST) you won. It was basically creativity and promotion at Warp Factor 9.
Each contest had only one winner. There was a Grand Prize winner who got a Weird Al Yankovic autographed card.

And I know you will positively influence others through your dedication to the arts. The more of us who positively engage in our talents the more others will want to join us.
For me having such a "Cutie Mark" helps me know I have a gift to give to the world in which allows me to interact with it in ways that allow me to make friends while helping others. So, as a writer, always following "What your Cutie Mark is telling you." :)
