Ahhh beautiful black babies. I have such a soft spot for black rats, they're so elegant and graceful looking.

same, the twins are almost identical Berkshires its so hard to tell them apart, the only changes are one has slightly more white on the belly then the other [least I THINK its berkshire, white paws, tailtip, while marks on belly?]

Yeah, they looked like berks from the photo but it's hard to tell when you can't see the belly ;p You think you got it hard, I once had six hairless boys, haha. The only way I could tell the difference was by their scar patterns and one of them had a black spot on his balls ;p Now I have four blue boys, I used to put food coloring on their tails to tell the difference between them (now that they're all grown up they've got pretty obvious differences). Maybe you could try that? Food coloring is safe and non-toxic, but you have to keep reapplying it because they'll lick it off ;p

oooh I'll try that! we can pick some up later, we have to go out anyway to pick up the oxbow adult food, they snubbed the baby food pretty hard so were going to try the other and give them extra protein and such with eggs and things [they had some last night and loved it] I want more so bad, the twins are socializing really well and even Odette who's nippy in the cage is coming along nicely, the twins have taken to trying to crawl up my sleeves when I play with them in the cage
