the biggest of your problems might be learning the umlauts. while learning the rest of the language might be your biggest problem while learning german. :)

Heh thanks. I don't know much about japanese culture, but I noticed their more traditional houses had one room with a raised floor with a mat on it that they would do almost everything on. My bed is so large and firm, Its pretty much where I do my art and such in much the same way I always felt.
