Check it out. I'm making my own pizza now. Including the crust. The sauce is from a jar, but it's organic and GMO-free, so at least it ain't poison. I'll probably attempt making my own sauce this summer.
This here is the 5th pizza I made. They're turning out better each time. This time it's almost perfectly round. It didn't stick to the pan this time. The crust had almost a uniform thickness (it was a little thicker in the middle). It cooked about long enough (still a little doughey in the middle). I probably could have kneaded the dough a little longer, but it's alright. And It still needs a little more cheese.
When I get the basics down I'll graduate to topings XD.
Not bad for a cat that never cooked anything more than a hamburger or grilled cheese in his life until a year ago, aye?

Pizza is one of my favorite foods. I basically lived on frozen pizza for years. That's mainly because it was the cheapest and easiest to live on lol. Then last summer I ate healthy and started cooking for myself. But I went back to frozen pizza this winter. However, in the last year all but one type, from one brand, has added some kind of libido killing, energy stealing, testicle shrivelling ingredient. So this month I finally had enough of that shit, and took the plunge into making my own.
How do you make pizza in a deep dish pan? I bought a marble rolling pin to flatten it out. I'm gonna put motorcycle hand grips on it, just to man it up a bit lol. At least I'm doing something right. I'm using olive oil too. Just in the dough though. I'll oil the pan with it next time. But this shit was expensive! $20 for a 33 oz bottle! It is certified organic and GMO-free, so I guess it's worth the price. Especially considering that, what, 90% of olive oil in america either isn't pure or isn't even olive oil at all.

BTW, right now I'm using Tillamook cheese. Next month I'll buy cheese from here http://my.execpc.com/~cgcheese/index.html That's the best and cheapest I found so far. ...When you look past the gift boxes and go down to bulk prices, anyway. Do you (or anybody reading) know where to get good cheese (including mozzarella) cheaper?

I gotta thank you for suggesting putting oil on the pan. The crust turned out perfect today. I was just putting a layer of flour on the pan before. That worked, but the cheese cooked faster than the dough. Now the dough gets a nice crust, with a little crunch. Perfect ^^ ...Of course that will get kinda expensive, with oil being worth its weight in gold lol, but oh well.
