Bird Tail Test

Decided to try my hands at making a bird tail to go with my head. I like the shape, but I need to work on the feather texture a bit to get it more symmetrical. They're fun to make though and I think a parrot one will be in the works soon.

Does it have loops for a belt or does it use something else? Im getting my crow turned into a fursuit and I like looking at stuff like this since itll be my first fursuit.

It's got loops for a belt. I couldn't find a belt so I used my tape measure to tie the tail around the dress form.

Have you planned on making arm-wings or separate wings and birdlike handpaws to go with the tail and head?

I made a quick pair of bird like hand paws today actually, just as another test. Any of my wings can go with it too, but I'm itching to finally make use of my articulated framework so I may play with those next.

Like moveable wings? Ive watched quite a few tutorials on how to make them and Ive been itching to make a pair myself, they dont seem too hard to make.

Yeah, movable, they're capable of opening and closing then moving forwards and backwards as well. The framework isn't hard, I always have a heck of a time getting the feathers to lay correctly when both open and closed.

I normally keep the test of whatever I make, just because there are normally flaws in it as it's the first. I do take commissions on most things I make.
