Yup, had the book of this. A mean prank pulled on the rabbit with a "tar baby." Can't remember much else, but you can see the pasts offensive culture rearing up.

I do! He was in peril a lot. He was tied up a few times and my favorite is when he got caught in a snare trap.

Yep. Found that VHS years ago. Found the DVD for it last year. Made by a now defunct animation company in Ireland.

Yes I remember, this one is called Brer Rabbit Tales. It was made in 1993 by (F.H.E.) also known as Family Home Entertainment. I have the original VHS copy and to me is better then Song of the South and Brer Rabbit and Friends! Here's the full movie if anyone wants to watch up?
