wow, really amazing work, especially, i cant take my eyes of his one, and the fine details on his head
is that sculpted and shadowed with wash or did you paint the lil gaps and all?

I painted the teeth, eyes and tongue by hand but the rest of his head was pretty much airbrushing and drybrushing XD

not massively long surprisingly XD i used the new red basecoat sprays, washed then did aout 4 layers of dybrush for the main body! :D

maybe about 4 hours total

what? o_o...gosh..with hightlighting, drybrushing and shadowing and all otehr stuff of my knight i m about...60 or more hours ^^´´´´
and looks barely as good, gotta post it in a few days

The beuty of smaug is, his only real dwetails are his tongue, teeth and eyes, XD the rest is one big area of blending with no highligting XD where imperial knights have LOTS of different metal colours, edges to highlight and details to pick out XD
