My lovely mate taonas_deridran taught me how to sew with a machine. He was very patient and encouraging with me through the whole process, which was extremely important, considering my "try once, fail, never try ever again" attitude (which I am trying to get over). Partly to thank him for being an awesome mate and partly just because I wanted to, I made this plushie with what he taught me, all by myself!

I made the pattern, cut it out, put it together, stuffed it, everything. I used some fairly cheap fur-like fabric for the body/tail/ears/limbs, simple felt for the claws, and basic black doll eyes for joints on the limbs. They wibble all over when you shake the poor 'durian! Also used cool little yellow animal doll eyes, a bit of marker, and a lot of thread.

Obviously this isn't that high quality of a plushie, and one of the arms has already fallen off cuz I made the hole for the joint too big. But It's my first attempt at anything remotely like this and my mate loves it so I'm proud of it, derp as it may be.
