Hailing from Trinidad, Guyana, Venezuela, Suriname, and French Guiana, the Little Hermit is one of the smallest birds in the world, with a length of 3 1/2 inches and only 12 ounces. Males form leks, or groups, to attract mates through their tail flashing.
