Someone started commissioning a series of character designs from me and suddenly I never heard from him anymore... so I think his project died or he put it on hold without telling me so I'm just going to post the ones I started on. :P
This is the last of the ones I completed prior to the communication death... this is the most elaborate clothing design I have ever come up with, it is supposed to make him look rather poncy and flambouyant xp The "helm" he's wearing is really just decoration and not actually for protection or anything. Same with the rest of his jewelry, though the claws would probably hurt if you got hit with them :p The jacket is supposed to be made from a shimmery material that appears black but changes color depending on the light.

I really like the designs you came up with for these. This one's especially interesting... the costume design is badass. It's too bad you lost touch with the guy, I've been enjoying this series :) Did you come up with these, or did you draw them from descriptions?

Thanks... I came up with them for the most part. There was supposed to be a couple characters that he had already thought up that needed to be drawn, but initially I got to choose the species I wanted to start with and just make up a character, and he would say what he thought I should change.
The goose started off with no pants cause I couldn't get pants to looks right on him... commissioner insisted on pants, and that I add some kind of tattoo.
He suggested a few changes to the female oryx though in the end the only thing I used of them was the fringe on her pants, the "anklets" by her hooves, and the engraving on the metal over the hooves.
This guy started off with a completely different personality and much more boring clothing; he didn't like that so I went in the opposite direction and got as elaborate as I could, but I never heard what he thought about it. ^_^;
