*ponders and ascesses the image then quirks eyebrow* let me guess, you were toying with the idea of him useing either Taijichuan (tai chi) or Bagua as his combat style? if so, you hit it spot on with the stance and even more dead on with the taijichuan sword he has clasped in his fanged mouth.

martial annalysis aside, wonderful image. I love the shading and the way the light hits him making all the angles seem to pop.

^_^ Thank you very much! Excellent analysis I might add. If I redid his right hand to flattened fingers and brought it up mid chest, he'd be in a Taichichuan stance and out of the combat stance. So he could 'wing it' both ways.

I'm glad I decided to read the journal of Faint's where he pimps your work. Your art is amazing. I wish you took commissions, but at the same time I know I couldn't afford one anyway. xD

Well when I first looked at it, it seemed as if the white outside the outlines where intention and some kind of icy fog or sonething. Maybe teh ice blue hair was the reason why I always have ice ice ice in my head when looking at at this pic!

The moment I saw this thumbnail image, I wanted to fave it. This is really done up very well. Without questionable doubt, this is truly a brilliant WIP to be proud of. The stance and poise is phenomenal, the beauty of his hair design is deliciously executed with an instant awe-encouraging stare from all eyes. The one thing that I really love is the one thing that I never see anyone really do: show THAT much definition of a muscular torso beneath a shirt. The choice if lighting to make it come out and the positioning really does give it unfathomable envy of artistic talent. Your work with Light & Shadow is pure excellence that makes the desire for the final production evermore a forbidden fruit waiting to be sampled and devoured for all it's worth, which is a pretty vast worth that can't be sate.

I'm single, never had a relationship (by choice), yet seem to get comments like that at times when I give a really good descriptive statement in regard to artwork and/or specific parts that might have a creative double-purpose.
