Meet Joey Paulo's little nephew Alvin Paulo. He's the energetic 11 year old nephew who lives with his uncles in suburbia Newark, Ohio since 2013.

Alvin is the illegitimate son of Joey's brother Roberto "Robby" Paulo, born in March 2004 to 19 year old Robby and a prostitute named Sydney Marquee. He's a Dobie-Rottweiler mix with Brazilian roots from his father. Alvin grew up in poverty with his abusive mother who never allowed him to see his father until he was seven years old. He was taken away from his mother in 2013 and placed in the care of his deadbeat father who never paid attention to him. Alvin was placed into the care of his Uncle Joey and Rob who have since been raising him since late 2013. What was originally a temporary placement became permanent with the death of Alvin's mom and the arrest of his father Robby.

Young Alvin aspires to be a pilot, wanting to follow in the footsteps of his Uncle Rob and "big brother" Felix Barion to fly warbirds when he becomes an adult. Rob and Felix often take Alvin along up in their planes, Rob making Alvin a small flight suit to fit him, complete with a oversized ZsH-3 Soviet era flight helmet that earns him to annoying nickname of "bobblehead".
