There's a fox that hangs out on the hill behind my bedroom. Some mornings I look out the windows to see it hopping about, hunting things in the tall grass. I've no idea if its male or female; just a wily fox. Sometimes it looks me in the eye, stares thoughtfully, then looks away. It's quite something. This song brought all that to mind, the fox I know and share such close proximity with. Though this fox no doubt is far more lively at such times, not in the state of sleepiness indicated by the melody. Still, the memory is drawn to the surface.
